Starting from Kathmandu Mardi Himal trek is the of popular trekking route in the Annapurna Region. Situated just east of one of the most popular treks of Nepal, the Annapurna Base Camp trek, the Mardi Himal trek is a hidden gem of Mountains and landscapes. The landscape changes quite abruptly into a rugged high mountain landscape, with amazing views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchre, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.
The trail goes along small winding paths, through magical rhododendron forests until you climb out of the forest at an elevation around 3,300m climbing up to 3900m(base Camp) and 4500m (highest Point) which generally takes around 3-4 hours to climb Mardi Himal Base Camp which offers spectacular and closes up view of the entire Annapurna Range.

Outlines Itinerary of Mardi Himal Trek
Day 1: Take a Bus or Flight to Pokhara
( If you take flight 25 mins Drive to Kande ( 1 hrs) – and trek to Pitam- Deurali (2100 M) around 2.5 hrs )
Day 2: Start your day with freshness of mountains and Hike from Pitam – Deurali (2100m) to Forest Camp ( 2550 m ) Which will take around 4-5 hrs and take rest there overnight.
Day 3: Hike from Forest Camp (2550 m) to Low Camp (2990 m) which will take around 3 hrs and take rest there overnight.
Day 4: Hike from Low Camp (2990 m) – High Camp (3580 m) which will take around 3 hrs and take rest there overnight.
Day 5: Hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4500 m) and return to High Camp (3580 m) which will take around 6-7 hrs and take rest there overnight.
Day 6: Hike to High Camp (3580 m) – Sidhing (1850 m) which will take around 6 hrs and take rest there overnight.
Day 7: Hike back to Sidhing (1850 m) – Lumre 3 hrs – drive to Pokhara 3 hrs
Day 8: Return Flight or bus Pokhara – Kathmandu
